Atella Designs is a New Orleans based company that draws inspiration from all things textile. We aim to help eliminate the amount of textile waste around the world by upcycling almost 100% of our fabric. Although a small amount of our textiles come from our travels, we make sure to buy from local women who hand make their goods. Our leather comes from scraps we buy from bookbinding companies, and the rest of our fabrics are used. We are influenced by the feminist movement--if you look closely you may see some female body parts in some of our work! The products are handmade locally by two sisters, Julia and Leah Gobin.
